Title: Career prospects in Photonics Research
Netsanet Tessema received her BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from Mekelle University, Ethioipia, in 2007. From 2007-2010, she worked at Ethio telecom. She received her MSc degree in Telecommunication Engineering in 2012 from Delft University of Technology, Delft, and her PHD degree in Electro-optic communication in 2017 from Eindhoven University of Technology, Eindhoven the Netherlands. She is currently working as a postdoctoral researcher under the context of H2020-PASSION project. Her research includes, optical beamforming, photonic switching, PIC design and testing, metro networks.
