HighTechXL is the Netherlands’ only deep-tech venture builder. We merge the unique skills of our global ecosystem with deep tech and entrepreneurship to build deep-tech ventures that tackle grand societal challenges. We are also focusing on leveraging integrated photonics technologies available in the photonics ecosystem. For example, Spectrik, a new venture in our program, is developing a multi-gas sensor for agriculture/livestock industry using integrated photonics.

QuiX Quantum

We believe in open-access development of quantum computing

QuiX Quantum is a photonic quantum technology startup, located in Enschede, the Netherlands. The company was founded in January 2019 by Dr. Hans van den Vlekkert, a veteran of the photonics industry and serial entrepreneur, Dr. Jelmer Renema, an expert in quantum photonics, and a team of professors from the University of Twente.

Photon Mission is a distributor of high tech photonics equipment. Think of lasers, spectrometers, hyperspectral cameras but also equipment for the vision industry (lenses, filters cameras etc). Besides just distributing products, their specialized team can help their customers with their application challenges. They have a multidisciplinary approach, combining expertise from various fields to help their customers finding the best solutions for their applications. They collaborate with various suppliers of photonics equipment, preferably the ones that are unique and distinctive in the market.

They offer design services for customers and foundries and support their customers to select the best solution for their needs.

All The Power Of Near-Infrared Spectroscopy On-A-Chip

At MantiSpectra, they believe that integrating spectroscopy at a wafer level will open up new applications where volume, robustness and ease-of-integration are key. From distributed sensors for quality measurements and material identification in process-control and agriculture to portable scanners or standalone IoT nodes.
